In a strategic move to enhance staff acquaint staff with the new Performance Management System in line with the Head of Service’s directive for a complete migration to the online Performance Management System (PMS), the Human Resource Department, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has organized a comprehensive 3-day training aimed at deepening understanding and fostering effective implementation of PMS across the organization.
Addressing participants during the opening session, at the Agency’s Headquarters in Abuja, Director Human Resource of the Agency, Hajiya Bilkisu Ahmed who was represented by the Deputy Director and Head Appointment, Promotions and Discipline Mr. Mohammed Lawal described the training as an indispensable component of NASRDA’s operational roadmap aimed at ensuring effective performance management.
She pointed that effective performance management is central to achieving the Agency’s three-point agenda that focuses on transformation, leveraging staff performance, and building strategic collaborations with the private sector.
Hajiya Ahmed described the training as not only timely but also strategic, as it is designed to prepare staff, especially Promotion Desk Officers and key role players, to manage and implement PMS in a manner that supports the Agency’s vision of becoming a world class, innovation driven Space agency.
