A political interest group, Igala Progressive Movement for Tinubu 2027 (IPMT) has applauded his leadership style in commemoration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second year in office.
In a statement signed by the National Coordinator of the group, Comr Moses Onuche and circulated by the National Secretary, Comr Jerry Ochada the forum canvases support for Tinubu’s government in order to attract the dividends of democracy to Igala Kingdom.
According to the Statement, “the Igala Kingdom has suffered a season of long term neglect due to self imposed rivalry and misunderstanding. However, we are now in tune with current realities and we are calling on our brethren to throw their weight behind the incumbent leadership of Nigeria to enjoy the dividends of democracy”.
The statement further called on the Igala Nation to bury their political differences by learning how to speak with one voice especially at the National Level of political interplay.
“There is no political leader who will accord you (the Igala People) political relevance if you are not united or playing key roles during campaigning or the voting process. We can only thrive if we agree to work together with President Tinubu’s government because no ethnic group is an island.
“Let us join hands together with President Tinubu to propel the ideals of democracy. We are also calling on our brethren to support the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 because it is time to speak with a loud voice and make a reliable difference as progressive minds”.
