A passionate plea has been made by the Igala Progressive Forum for PBAT 2027 to the Kogi State Government, urging immediate action to address the dire living conditions in Ayingba, Dekina LGA.

This major town, home to Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), is facing severe infrastructural challenges that threaten the quality of life for its residents and the town’s reputation.

The admonition, titled “A Call to Service: Addressing the Inhabitable Conditions in Ayingba, Dekina LGA,” highlights the urgent need for intervention in key areas such as road repairs, drainage reconstruction, waste management, water supply, and sanitation.

The Igala Progressive Forum for Tinubu 2027 is urging the Kogi State Government to take swift action to restore dignity and promote growth, health, and opportunity in Ayingba.

The appeal, addressed to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, the Honourable Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and relevant ministries, emphasizes the need for an urgent on-site assessment, prioritized funding for infrastructure rehabilitation, and engagement with local stakeholders to design sustainable urban development plans.

This heartfelt call to service is a reminder that Ayingba deserves a brighter future, and its people deserve to live in dignity. We hope that this appeal will be treated with the urgency and seriousness it demands.

e-Signed: Comr Moses Onuche

President, Igala Progressive Forum for PBAT 2027
