The G37 Coalition Support Group for Tinubu 2027 has passed a vote of confidence on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government by endorsing him for a second term in office.
The group also endorsed Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo of Kogi state ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial elections.
Addressing newsmen at the end of a close door consultative meeting on Friday, the Director General of the G37 Coalition Support Group, Hon Ben Amodu called on Nigerians to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President by ensuring he is given a second chance in order to consolidate on the dividends of democracy.
“Without mincing words, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown capacity by working with all and sundry across boards. Under his watch, the country is journeying towards a more dynamic economy paving the way for the emergence of young entrepreneurial adventure and developments.
“Tinubu is working tirelessly by ensuring the citizens of Nigeria are all partners in progress. He does not bother whether you are in the APC or in the opposition party. Everybody is involved in the process of governance and a close look at his cabinet redefines democracy in the 21st century.
“President Tinubu is a pilot of national progress. We are co-passengers on this journey and our mission is to build a one Nigeria of our dream where peace, development and justice shall prevail. We are calling on him to run for a second term in office because he is equal to the task”.
The Director-General also passed a vote of confidence on Gov Ododo citing how he has greatly improved the security architecture of Kogi state.
“In Kogi state, Ododo is already a household name because he is loved by his people. As we all know, security is everybody’s business but as the helmsman of the confluence state he is leading from the forefront instead of sitting at the comfort of his office to give directives. This is commendable.
“In the area of infrastructual development, Ododo has continued to work tirelessly around the clock by ensuring Kogi state is propelled to the next level. The G37 group is endorsing him for a second term because he is poised to do more,” he said.
