The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, experienced a counter on Tuesday as he was confronted by a deployment of Naval Officers in Abuja.
SPY News gathered that the Minister was chased away from the site as he was denied access.
The visibly angry Wike was seen in a viral video calling one of the officers a “fool” during the encounter.
The officer who displayed gallantry retorted, “I am not a fool, I am an officer”.
In a trending video, the argument later turned into a free for all fight as security personnel attached to the Minister attempted to forcefully gain access to the site.
Amidst the situation, the Minister took his leave in anger threatening that “let me see how you are going to develop this site”.
Meanwhile, netizens have continued to hail the gallantry of the officer alongside his team for standing grounds during the encounter.
The young officer despite the provocation addressed the Minister as “sir“. Barr Nyesom Wike is renowned for his unguided remarks.
