The spokesman of 81 Division, Nigerian Army, Major O. J. Osoba has been promoted to the rank of a Lieutenant-Colonel.
Osoba was decorated on Monday by the General Officer Commanding 81 Division, Major General Obinna Ajunwa.
Osoba, who is the Acting Deputy Director, 81 Division Army Public Relations has attended several courses, including Young Officers Course Infantry, Advance Public Relations Course, Joint Information Operations Course in United Kingdom, Strategy Development and Critical Thinking Course, Open Source Intelligence Course, Staff Course.
The spokesman was Commissioned as a member of Short Service Course, SSC, 34 and posted to the Directorate of Army Public Relations.
Lt-Col. Osoba in the Course of his career has held several appointments, including Officer Commanding FOB Gambaru Ngala in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Officer Commanding Bagadaza and Krenoa in Operation LAFIYA Dole, Pioneer Public Relations Officer of the Army War College Nigeria and Assistant Director Army Public Relations 9 Brigade.
