A time comes periodically when people must constitutionally and democratically choose/elect their leaders, and in doing so, the people must look beyond every form of primordial sentiments of ethnic chauvinism, religious and tribal bigotry and prejudice.
At hand is another election year in Kogi state and plethora of candidates have availed themselves for the Kogi’s top job. However, the delegates as well as the people must queue behind one man that is obviously seen and known to be the best hand and fit for the job of putting Kogi on the threshold of development as a continuation of and commitment to the ideal of the new direction government led by his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the man is Pharmacist Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku.
Asuku has unmatched competence and capacity to steer the governmental ship of Kogi state to sail it through without sinking when compared with other aspirants gunning for this position. He is the most compassionate of them all and his emotional and social intelligence is his strength hence the love and wild support from the people.
Any leader without compassion for the people and passion for the job will definitely take us a step forward and many steps backward and such a creeping development is not what is required and needful in Kogi state right now, but the one that will bring the potentials and involve technocrats that will harmonize human and natural resources of the state as evidence in the current administration. This qualities and more, Asuku has over the years proven and demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt that God has endowed him with the passion and compassion to be our next governor.
Testimonies abounds of his many people oriented endeavours; first as the DG Protocol and currently as the Chief of Staff to the Governor with this he will not be said to be bereft of ideas to run a purposeful and people oriented government.
It is time for us to give the right person the right position to place our state in the right place comparatively in the comity of states.
Dear Delegates, this is the right time and a passionate appeal for the good of all, vote Asuku during the primaries and we will galvanize and canvas for votes in the general election to deliver him. He will be a pathway to good governance, sustainable development, welfare, continuous security sustainability that the state is known for and has taken many awards both internally and nationally in the regards.
Vote Asuku because the time is right.
Beyond all prejudice and ethnocentric forces, let’s see Kogi state as a bigger picture
