The government of Kwara State has alerted residents over the outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) also known as bird flu. The Kwara State Government on Friday alerted residents of the state of the recent outbreak of the virus in Kebbi state. The alert is sequel to a reported case of the bird flu in Kebbi State, Northwestern region of Nigeria. An angry mob has beaten the Driver of a robbery vehicle popularly known as ‘one chance’ in Abuja. The incidence happened on Accra street, Wuse zone 5, Abuja. Luck ran out of the criminals and in a bid to escape, the fleeing driver bashed an official military vehicle belonging to a One Star General. Gunmen Attack Ikobi Village in Benue, Kill Four Gunmen have attacked Ikobi village in Apa Local Government Area of Benue State. The gunmen killed four of the villagers in a renewed attack. Nigerian singer, Michael Aniekeme Meshach, popularly known as Mish, is reportedly dead. A family member, who confirmed his death to newsmen on Thursday, said the singer died in Abuja. Mish gained prominence in 2011 after his song, ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya’ went viral. Not much was heard from the singer after the success of ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya.’ The deceased hailed from Obot Okoh Mbiaobong in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
