The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has ordered its military forces to temporarily enforce a ceasefire in Ukraine from January 6 to January 7 in view of the Russian Orthodox Church Christmas celebration. Putin’s decision followed an agreement with the church leadership led by Patriarch Kirill. Kirill was said to have prevailed on Putin to allow both countries to celebrate the orthodox Christmas holding on January 7. Former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida has denied reports that he endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 general elections. Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, says the Labour Party (LP) has no chance of winning the presidential election. 15 passengers were chocked to death in a ghastly autocrash involving a J-5 Boxer Bus and a Petroleum Tanker at Koton-Karfe area of Lokoja-Abuja highway in Kogi State around 7.30am on Tuesday. Five people were also injured in the accident and were rushed to Ideal Hospital at Koton-Karfe for immediate medical attention. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the crash.
