The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has revealed the reason for the recent arrest of a controversial social media activist Martins Innocent Otse popularly known as Very Dark Man (VDM). A statement by the Commission hints that VDM was invited a number of times to answer some petitions bothering on financial crimes but he turned it down. A General Court Martial (GCM) sitting at the Headquarters, 82 Division, Nigerian Army, Enugu has sentenced a soldier, Private Adamu Mohammed, to death by hanging and another, Private Abubakar Yusuf, to 10 years imprisonment. The sentences were handed down after due consideration for the offences of murder and robbery for which the soldiers stood trial. The GCM composed of 11 members.
