Renewed hopes for Nigeria as oil production rose above the 1 million mark for the first time since July 2022. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) said this in its latest crude oil and condensate production data for October 2022. After a two-month record decline, oil production averaged 1,014,485 barrels of oil per day in October. According to the report, the production increase is more than 8.18 percent compared to September’s production at 937,766 million barrels a day. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Abeokuta South local government area of Ogun, located at Iyana Mortuary area of the state capital was razed by fire in the early hours of Thursday. DeLuca died October 9, 2022, after a brief battle with lymphoma, a disease he twice previously beat. He died at the age of 85. The Federal Government said over 12,000 inmates have regained freedom from various correctional centres in the last six years in line with the policy of prison decongestion.
