Armed men suspected to be herders have attacked Tse Ikyem community in Logo Local Government Area of the State. The unfortunate attack occurred in broad daylight around 4pm Nigerian time on Saturday. SPY News reliably gathered that the kidnappers who abducted two female students of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun State, have renegotiated the ransom from 20million naira to 4million naira. The victims were abducted along the popular Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Friday. The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested the village head of Gidan Abba in Bodinga Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Abubakar Ibrahim, and 10 other suspects across seven states for drug trafficking. This was disclosed in a statement released on Twitter on Sunday by NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi. According to the statement, 991,320 pills of pharmaceutical opioids and 1,251 kilograms of cannabis and khat as well as 46.637 kilograms of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin were recovered from the suspects.
