Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have intercepted 47 suspected internet fraudsters in Edo State with a Pump Action rifle and live cartridges, recovered from one of them. Their arrest on Friday, August 15, 2025 followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities. Other items recovered from them include, six vehicles, mobile phones and laptop computers. They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
Poultry farmers in Lokoja local government area, Kogi State, have undergone a step-down training on Business Development and Investment Planning, aimed at improving farm management practices and enhancing access to funding opportunities. The Mining Marshals of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have shut down an illegal quarrying site operating within the Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
