The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested and grilled one Hassan Babangida, for alleged criminal conspiracy, employment scam and forgery. According to DAILY POST, the accused was arrested in Kano imposing an employment agent. The suspect claimed he could secure jobs for applicants in different federal ministries and parastatals. The Nigerian Senate has commenced screening of the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola. Motion for the screening was moved by the Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir. Available statistics by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Nigeria says over 300 persons have been killed by flood in 2022. According to NAN, Mustapha Ahmed, NEMA Director-General, revealed the figure at an emergency technical meeting on flooding in the Nigeria. A total of Nineteen travellers has been confirmed dead in an auto crash that occurred along Yangoji-Gwagwalada expressway in Nigeria’s capital city. Dauda Biu, Acting Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the development to NAN when he visited the accident scene.
