Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed (Ayuba Nana), Zonal Security Adviser for Ankpa Federal Constituency, has commended the state government’s swift deployment of military personnel, including the Army, Navy, and Civil Defense, to crisis-ridden Bagana community in Omala LGA.
This strategic move aimed at restoring peace and stability to the troubled area which is a boundary community to Benue and Nasarawa States wil further promote the revival of economic activities in the area.
“The Governor promised in May, 2024 that he will ensure that military personnel are deployed to the area to quell the crisis and today the troops are here. This is to show that this government prioritises the safety of its people and the promotion of peaceful coexistence”, Hon. Ayuba has said.
Hon. Ayuba Nana also commended the Executive Chairman of Omala LGA, Hon.Edibo Ameh Mark (Marknoble), for his tireless efforts in ensuring the return of peace and stability in the region. Hon. Ayuba said The Chairman’s collaboration with state government initiatives has significantly contributed to the military reinforcements in the area to ensure the permanent return of peace and normalcy to the affected areas.
While appreciating everyone who has contributed to the return of peace in bagana and surrounding communities, Hon. Ayuba urged the people to avoid any acts that will provoke any form of unrest in the communities. He emphasized that no meaningful development can come into any community when there is no peace.
“The people of Bagana and surrounding communities have suffered enough“, Hon. Ayuba Nana stated. “It’s time for us to come together, renounce violence, and build a brighter future for ourselves and our children”
