In the spirit of Christmas and giving back to the community, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, MD/CEO of Anarock Global Services Limited, has donated ₦1,000,000 to the Holy Rosary College Alumni Association, Class of 2001, to support their Christmas celebration.

The event, hosted at the Ogah family house in Idah, was organized by Mrs. Afor Ogah, the wife of Peter Ogah, brother to Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah. The gathering provided an opportunity for former classmates to reconnect, celebrate the season, and discuss initiatives aimed at giving back to their alma mater.

Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, known for his unwavering commitment to education and community development, expressed his delight in supporting the event. In a message conveyed through Mrs. Afor Ogah, he emphasized the importance of alumni associations in fostering unity and contributing to the growth of their former schools.

“Education is the foundation upon which progress is built. Supporting the Holy Rosary College Alumni, Class of 2002, is my way of celebrating the impact of education and the lifelong bonds it creates. I hope this gesture inspires everyone to continue contributing to the growth of our alma mater and supporting one another,” Hon. Ogah said.

The donation was met with overwhelming appreciation from the alumni members, who lauded Hon. Ogah for his generosity and commitment to community building. They described the contribution as a reflection of his dedication to fostering unity and progress among the Igala people.

Speaking on behalf of the alumni, the president of the Class of 2001, Mrs. Afor Ogah expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Ogah and his family for their support.

“This gesture is not just about the money; it is about the thoughtfulness and encouragement to continue building our network and supporting our school. Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah has shown us that giving back to where we come from is a duty we all share,” she said.

The celebration featured a mix of formal discussions and lighthearted moments, with alumni members sharing fond memories of their time at Holy Rosary College. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to furthering the cause of the alumni association and supporting educational initiatives in the Igala Kingdom.

Hon. Ogah’s donation not only added to the festive spirit of Christmas but also reinforced the importance of alumni associations in fostering unity and giving back to educational institutions. His contribution serves as a reminder that the bonds formed in school often extend far beyond the classroom, building bridges for community development and shared progress.
