As Kogites continue to relish the dividends of democracy under the incumbent leadership of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Women Mobilization (Kogi East), Hon Victoria Unekwu Samuel has applauded the pragmatic leadership style of the governor as she pledges more grassroots support in the 2027 polls.
Hon Unekwu in an interview granted to our Correspondent in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi state said Governor Ododo has performed excellently in the past one year in office and deserves more support especially from the grassroots.
“Governor Ododo has prove beyond doubts that he is a man of his words. Most of his empowerment schemes are targeted at assisting women and vulnerable children. This is a clear attestation to his manifestos during the election and we are strongly behind him come 2027 because one good tenure deserves another”, she said.
 Unekwu further advised beneficiaries of the various empowerment schemes facilitated by Gov Ododo to make good use of the intervention in order to maximize profits and in turn help in the economic growth and development of Kogi state.
