Today was a great day for the people of Omala LGA as the newly elected Chairman of Omala LGA Hon Edibo Ameh Mark and his colleagues were officially sworn in as dully elected Executive Chairmen.
After the inauguration Hon Marknoble held a reception in Lokoja Kogi State to thank everyone for standing genuinely by him through thick and thin.
While addressing the people Hon Edibo said his victory is an act of God and the unconditional love the good people of Omala LGA has melted on him. He thanked the people and reiterated his commitment to changing the affairs of the LG positively.
Hon Edibo Ameh Mark also thanked the Chief Servant of the State, H.E Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for his unending and unconditional support in the fight against insecurity, stating that he has promised to kick start the full activities of a Forward Operational Base (FOB) in Bagana so as to curb the menace of insecurity in the zones.
The DG Campaign Council who also doubled as the Member House of Assembly representing Omala LGA, Hon Umar Yahaya (Connect) thanked everyone who had supported their course stating that the victory of Hon. Marknoble and the party is the will and the desire of Omala sons and daughters and promised that they would never be disappointed.
In his words Hon Yahaya (Connect) said “All Hon Marknoble need is our support so as to enable him to bring the needed development to the land”
Finally, Hon Umar promised of working hand in hand with the Local Government for utmost productivity.
