The Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Edibo Peter Ameh Mark, has flagged off the distribution of rice palliatives provided by the Kogi State Government to support the community during this festive period.

In his remarks, the Chairman emphasized the importance of ensuring that the palliative get across the intended beneficiaries while urging recipients to deliver the palliatives to the people they represent.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Ojogba of Ife, HRH Chief Boniface Musa, who commended the Governor of Kogi State for his kindness and the Chairman for his transparency in the distribution process.

The Director of Local Government (DLG), Mrs. Edogbo Jummai, also praised the state government for its efforts in supporting the welfare of its citizens during this festive period.

This initiative is part of the Kogi State Government’s commitment to providing relief to its citizens, particularly during the festive period.
