Popular Nigerian Grammar King, Hon Patrick Obahiagbon have eulogized the popular Nigerian Musician, Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad who died last week.
Obahiagbon who was reacting to a medical explanation by Aproko Doctor on Twitter expressed his views concerning the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
Read what Aproko Doctor Tweeted in part:
“When blood is exposed to air, the cells that carry these haemoglobin die, and the haemoglobin becomes exposed to air abs starts to change colour to a darker one.
This dark colour is because the haemoglobin is being changed to another compound called methemoglobin.
Normally, when people die, they die with all the blood in their system, but it doesn’t move because circulation has stopped, but it’s still there. Let’s not forget.
Now, during embalming, this blood is usually replaced with another fluid. The question is, “Was he embalmed?”.
In reaction, Obahiagbon tweeted: “One advantage of exhuming Mohbad’s cadaver is the chance to give him a burial commensurate with the luminous persona he embodied. The initial interment was ignominious- it was marred by the indignity of an askew head placement & cheap carpentry. Now, we can bury him like the lux splendens that he was.?”
