A former aide of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi state has stormed the social media with a “dismissal” cake in celebration of his sack from the cabinet which was announced on Monday morning.
Notice of his sack was contained in a statement issued in Lokoja by Mrs Folashade Arike-Ayoade, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State.
According to notice, the dismissal of Amb. Anthony Ogah, a Special Adviser (SA) to the state governor on Stakeholders Relations takes effect from Sunday.
“Gov. Bello has issued a directive for the immediate dismissal of Ogah, who served as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Stakeholders Relations.
“The termination of Ogah as the special adviser to the governor is effective from Sept. 24.
“Gov Bello extends his best wishes to Ogah in his future endeavors”, the statement reads in part.
As at the time of filing this report, no reason was given for his dismissal.
The dismissal cake had an inscription, “HAPPY DISMISSAL OGAH A.”
