The G37 Coalition Support Group for Tinubu 2027 has applauded the recent military shake-up authorized by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Convener of the forum, Hon Ben Ibrahim Amodu on Saturday.

Amodu called on Nigerians to support the vision of President Tinubu in order to boost the security architecture of the country.

“Mr President’s decision to reshuffle the military hierarchy is in line with constitutional provisions. It is also a welcome development in order to boost the synergy within the armed forces.

“Since assumption of office, President Tinubu has continued to boost the security architecture of the country. In effect, Nigerian troops are presently recording tremendous successes against terrorism and armed banditry across the country.

“I implore Nigerians to support this vision. It is time for us to promote a trailblazer who is on a good mission to rescue Nigeria. He understands the yearnings of Nigerians”.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu sacked the Service Chiefs on Friday and elevated the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Oluyede Olufemi to the rank of the Chief of Defence Staff.
