A foremost political mobilization vanguard popularly known as G37 Coalition Support Group for Tinubu 2027 has welcomed Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu state as well as his teaming supporters to the ruling All Progressives’ Congress (APC).
Gov Mbah defected to the APC alongside his predecessor, Rt Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi including other Federal and State Lawmakers on Tuesday.
Gov Mbah thanked his former party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for ensuring his victory during the election but noted it is time to move on.
Responding to the development, the National Coordinator of the G37 Coalition Group, Hon Ben Ibrahim Amodu praised the governor for his foresightedness.
Amodu reiterated how President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government is extending its tentacles by preaching love, peace, and unity in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“To be candid, we are making progress. Gov Peter Mbah is highly welcome as he joins the winning team.
I must commend his foresightedness. It means he knows the intricacies of politics because from all indications, there is no vacancy in Aso Rock come 2027. I also want to use this medium to also welcome Federal Lawmakers of Enugu extraction who also took the bold steps. This is a clear indication that our democracy is developing against all odds.
“For us in the APC, the only language we understand is progress and as progressives, we shall continue to make progress.
“This is just the beginning. Many more decamping ceremony shall be celebrated in the coming days and weeks. I implore other team players to join the winning team,” he added.
The G37 Coalition Support Group is a political movement with membership cutting across the 36 states of Nigeria including the FCT.
