BREAKING: Senate Confirms Adama as Executive Director of NMDGIFB
The Senate on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Oluwole Adama as the Executive Director of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund Board.
Adama had been nominated by President Bola Tinubu who requested the Senate to confirm his appointment in line with the establishment Act of the NMDGIFB.
Tinubu had appointed a Governing Council of the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund to be domiciled in the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
The Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Gas), Mr. Heineken Lokpobiri, was appointed as the council’s Chairman.
The resolution of the upper chamber followed its approval of the recommendation of the Committee on Gas and Petroleum Resources (Downstream) that screened Adama.
