A topnotch political heavyweight in Kogi Gubernatorial Race, Hon Abubakar Yahaya Achimugwu has applauded voters in Aloji ward, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi state for trooping in their numbers to throw weights behind the ruling All Progressives’ Congress, APC, during the just concluded election.

The frontline governorship aspirant further thanked Nigerians for trusting the APC with their votes.

According to Achimugwu, Nigerians used the election to showcase their unalloyed support for the party.

“I was not amazed when I witnessed voters in their large numbers working assiduously to ensure the victory of our great party in the just concluded election.

“It is a clear attestation that the APC is truly the game changer and a party of national unity.

“Nigerians trooped out in their large numbers and my people in Aloji ward also made a louder statement by voting the APC and by indirectly throwing their weight behind my ambition because charity begins from home.

“I will not disappoint Kogites in the forthcoming election. We shall continue to make admirable difference by striving to better the lives of all Kogites because you all deserve the best”, he said.

SPY Reporters gathered that Achimugwu arrived his country home, Aloji, on Thursday to canvass support for his party.

The out come of the election in his ward and LGA is not unconnected to the overwhelming welcome he enjoyed upon his arrival last Thursday.
