The National Executive Council of Ane Igala Restoration (AIR) wishes to express it’s acceptance of the apologies of Dr Sheikh Mukailu Hassan Abejukolo over his earlier publication in respect to his purported inauguration as King of Igala Africa.
AIR accepts the said apologies with a slight reservation and wishes to commend Dr Sheikh Hassan Mukailu Abejukolo for the humility and maturity displayed in that wise by showing strength to admit the erroneous footing of the said publication and the purported coronation, this indeed has shown in no small measure that Dr Hassan Mukailu Abejukolo is indeed in words and spirit a true Igala son who will not drag the highly reputable Atta Igala stool and the Igala traditional institution into disrepute.
On this account, we express our profound gratitude to him.
Our reservation however lies in the fact that the said event as contained in the letter attached to the said apologies yet raises some issues of coronation of Igala kingship which were written in Hausa language, we therefore wish to call on the King of Hausawa and the organizers of the event to reconcile the said appointment as a Peace Ambassador in Islam and the misleading expression as contained in the said letters in Hausa.
This in our believe will assuage our people’s agitation and lay the matter to rest.
