Omala LG Chairman Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Salome Adaidu, Places Her Ailing Mum on Monthly Salary

The Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Edibo, Mark Ameh has paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Salome Eleojo Adaidu.

Hon Edibo said the story of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, the lady who was brutally and gruesomely murdered by Timileyin Ajayi in Nasarawa State is pathetic and tragic.

Miss Salome hails from Ogodu in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State and before her death she was a serving Corp member deployed to Nicon Insurance, Abuja.

Hon Edibo visited the Abuja residence of the deceased to console the family.

Speaking in an emotional laden voice, the LG Chairman said he sees every happening as an act of God but in Salome’s case it is bitterly an “inhumanity of man”. He called for justice.

He commiserated with the bereaved family by advising them to take solace. According to him, the government will not relax until justice is served. He also promised that the culprit will not go unpunished according to the law.

During the visit, Hon Edibo also pledged to place the ailing mother of the deceased on a monthly stipend to take cater for her medical needs.

Finally, Hon Edibo prayed that God gives the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
