Insecurity in Omala LGA has been relatively defeated by the Executive Chairman of Omala LGA, Hon Edibo Peter Ameh Mark. He kept reaffirming his saying that “the war against insecurity is forever”.
At the Local government council Hon. Edibo addressed the gathering of Hunters who were on standby to receive their bullet proof vests and motorcycles that will make their movement from place to place easy.
In his address he thanked the group for their dedication and support in fighting this menace that has eaten the people for long, he continued by telling them that they are still many wars to fight and he will do anything virtually possible to make this mission successful.
While handing the motorcycle and the bullet proof vest to them the Chairman thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his support and activeness in the fight against insecurity, he said H.E has already written his name in the heart of every Omala sons and daughters for relieving them as at when due and they promised to remain appreciative forever.
The motorcycles were distributed within the zones to make movement easy for the officers as they go about combating crime.
