The Forum of APC Ex-Political Appointees has expressed resounding praise for Governor Usman Ododo, hailing him as a leader with empathy for humanity. The commendation follows an assessment of Governor Ododo’s remarkable accomplishments in the last 10 months in office.
In a statement signed by the Interim Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Abah Samuel Eleojo in Lokoja today, the Forum applauded the governor’s dedication to the welfare of Kogites and his efforts in fostering peace across the state.
Highlighting his achievements, the Forum pointed to key milestones achieved so far by Governor Ododo’s administration, such as the recent approval of 8billion Naira investment for extensive projects at the newly established university in Kabba and the distribution of N316million Naira in bursary payments to 8,750 undergraduates studying at various tertiary institutions nationwide. They also cited the construction of an 11-kilometre dual carriage road equipped with state-of-the-art street lighting from Zone 8 Junction to the “Welcome to Lokoja” point and the implementation of a N72,500 Naira minimum wage as examples of his sustainable development initiatives.
“We are pleased to have Governor Usman Ododo as our governor at this critical time when every state desires a leader who truly cares about the growth and welfare of its people,” the statement reads.
The statement urged the people of Kogi State to continue supporting and praying for Governor Ododo, stressing that his current programmes and policies signal more promising developments ahead.
“The governor has exemplified the attributes of a responsible and responsive leader since his assumption of office. With the support of Kogites, the positive and impactful progress he can achieve for the state knows no bounds,” the statement concluded.
